The camper is still being repaired, however I am moving forward without the camper.

I am prepping everything so that when we get the camper back, it can be smooth sailing.

Every week, my mom watches the kids for 2 half days. I use that time to run camper errands (getting stuff I need for the camper) or building stuff.

So far I've learned how to use a drill, a circular saw, and a jig saw.

Today, I learned about electrical when I wired the lights for the camper.

Fun fact: you can use house light fixtures in a camper, you just have to use a 12 volt light bulb or it won't work.

Most of the time, you also need a toggle switch on the light fixture since most lights in RVs don't have light switches.

So that's what I did today, drilled a hole in the light fixtures, and the wired in the toggle switches.

Part of me wonders who I am...like if you had told me 2 months ago I would be doing all of this, I would have called you crazy.

The other part of me feels right at home, like this is what I've always done.

It's so weird having polar emotions at the same time, yet here we are! <3 Kayla
